Cappagh is situated in the heart of rural West Waterford,
in South East Ireland. It is in the midst of beautiful countryside;
nestled between the Knockmealdown and Comeragh Mountains to
the North and the sea to the South, with pretty villages, a
wonderful coastline and many sandy beaches to chose from.
There are 2 holiday cottages set on the Chavasse family estate
of 200 acres which provide a wonderful self-catering base for
either relaxing in the peaceful surroundings or exploring this
unique and unspoilt part of Ireland. It is ideally located for
golf enthusiasts, those interested in fishing, walking, equestrian
activities and watersports, to name but a few pastimes. |

It extends over an archway that is the entrance to an enclosed

The Lodge
The Lodge is at the front Gate to Cappagh Estate, but has it’s
own entrance, driveway and garden. The house sleeps four and
was completely refurbished in 1993 using the original stone
and slate with an interesting design and great character. The
surrounding garden is well maintained, mature and beautifully
landscaped and guests are also welcome to walk over the farmland
and through the woods on the estate. |
